Long day with the farrier here . All of the horses got done and are looking great . Eros is only 5 weeks old , but is going to be huge . We started getting him used to the farrier this afternoon. Picked up all 4 feet . Held them for a short time and ran a hoof pick along the bottom of his hooves. Eros was a bit confused but a very good boy. We want every new experience for him to be a positive one .
Note: momma Nyx was right there out of the photo being held by my dad . She had her feet done first . At all times momma and baby can see each other and are next to each other . We even took nursing breaks for Eros to hit the milk bar
